OPEN TO RNs AND LPNs.
Provides the nurse with information necessary to care for patients with complex problems related to cardiac pathology. Course content includes: identify the indicators of ischemia, injury, and infarction on selected EKGs; identify from several 12 lead EKG's ASMI, MDI, LWMI, PWMI, SEMI/non Q wave; discuss nursing implications of each MI; identify EKG changes associated with Wellen's syndrome. 7 contact hours are available upon completion of class.
